Pet Adoption League

Pet Adoption League is a non profit, 501(c)(3) rescue serving Western PA, including Fayette & Westmoreland Counties, running solely on donations. They started in 1993 at a location in Yukon, where they operated from until 2020. As of last year, they obtained a new building in New Stanton, where they jumped right back into helping animals in need. Dogs, cats, rabbits, & birds are the majority of the animals this rescue cares for; some of the situations these animals are obtained from are from the dog warden, puppy mills, & hoarding situations. All animals are fully vetted, including vaccinations & spaying/neutering. Among caring for homeless animals at their facility, they also promote responsible pet ownership by educating the public on the benefit of spaying/neutering & proper veterinary care, as well as returning lost pets to their owners. This rescue also upholds a thorough adoption process & ensures every pet is placed into a loving forever home. Since their start 30 years ago, they have helped hundreds of animals in need!
